These are graphic design projects I completed at the University of Memphis. I made each project alone based off of the prompt provided each week. Each project allowed me the room to be creative, but also allow me to learn the technical aspects of creating graphics with Adobe.
Project #1: Print Advertisements
Two projects allowed me to design magazine-style advertisements. For the first, I created an Urban Outfitters denim ad using Adobe Illustrator, incorporating the repeated phrase "denim on denim" to fill the space in an engaging manner.
The second is a mock advertisement for the University of Memphis film department, also made in Adobe Illustrator. I utilized the school's colors to highlight key elements of the design.
Project #2: Social Media Advertisements
One of my favorite projects involved designing two Facebook banner ads. I selected the online thrift marketplace Depop to focus of my project. For the first banner, I contrasted the red Depop logo with the blue and white sky background. In the second banner, I utilized the black logo alongside red elements to create visual contrast. In addition, I developed the slogan “The Circular Revolution” and incorporated recycling arrows to highlight Depop's emphasis on thrifting.
Project #3: Digital Magazines
Here are a few digital magazines I created. Click on a magazine to get started.
